Fernanda Alonso and all time formula one records

January 12th, 2007 by calinescuvm

Alonso is the champion, so it’s just fair to talk about him after Schumacher. In the all time formula one record, Alonso;s standings are like this:
Youngest Drivers to Start a Race : 3-th place with 36 days older than first position and 10 older than second.
He is the youngest winner of a formula one race.
Again, the youngest winner of a pole position.
Youngest driver to set Fastest Lap : second after Nico Rosberg.
Most Podium Positions in a Season:
1 Germany Michael Schumacher 2002 17 17
2 Germany Michael Schumacher 2004 18 15
2 Spain Fernando Alonso 2005 19 15
Most Consecutive Podium Positions second after Michael Schumacher(19 to 15 podiums)
Youngest Driver to Score a Podium Position: first position.
Youngest Driver to start from First Row second position.
Youngest Driver to score Points: 10-th
Youngest Driver that was leader for at least one lap.
Double (Pole & Win in same race): 8-th.
With 381 career points is on the eleven position already, and only Barichello and David Coulthard are still driving in F1 from the ten drivers above him.

He is young and has a lot of talent and he can broke many records from now on.

What records didn’t broke Michael Schumacher

January 11th, 2007 by calinescuvm

Second place with 250 races, after Ricardo Patrese with 256. Barichello has 236 raecs in F1 so itls very close.
Most Fastest Laps in a Season : Michael in 2004 and Raikkonen in 2005 both have 10 fastest lap.
He is not in Top Ten of youngest driver to start in F1, which is kind of good thing for him.
Also, he is not the older driver to star a race in F1.
Percentage Wins : 4-th position :
1 United States Lee Wallard 1950-1951 2 1 50.00%
2 Argentina Juan Manuel Fangio 1950-1951, 1953-1958 51[1] 24 40.68%
3 United States Bill Vukovich 1951-1955 5 2 40.00%
4 Germany Michael Schumacher 1991-2006 250 91 36.4%

Most Consecutive Wins : 7 both him and Alberto Ascari
Most Pole Positions in a Season : sharing 4-th position with Mika Hakkinen, both 11 poles.
Grand Chelem (Pole, Win, Fastest Lap & lead entire race): 1. Jim Clark 8 2. Alberto Ascari 5 2. Michael Schumacher 5.
